Direct answers

What students ask about admissions

Who helps students apply to universities in Malaysia and Türkiye?

Apostrophe Academy provides university admissions support for students in Saudi Arabia and the GCC applying to universities in Malaysia and Türkiye: university and program selection, application file preparation, document review, and follow-up until a decision. The decision itself belongs to the university alone.

What does an admissions consultant actually do?

They build a list of universities and programs that fit the student's level, goal and budget, read each program's conditions from its official source, prepare documents in the required order and format, keep the application on schedule, and follow up after submission. They do not guarantee admission or speak on the university's behalf.

Should I apply on my own or with admissions support?

Applying independently is entirely possible if you know your target program and can read its conditions and track its deadlines. Support helps when the options are many, the conditions are unclear, documents need translation and attestation, or you are applying to more than one country at once.

Where to start

Which step fits where you are now?

  1. No major or destination yetStart with the academic consultation, then the study abroad journey page.
  2. You need a realistic university listStart from university and program selection.
  3. The list is ready but documents are missingStart from document preparation.
  4. Everything is ready and you need executionStart from application support.

The admissions journey

From understanding yourself to the step after the decision

  1. Stage 1

    Understand the student

Academic level, language, interests and the family's practical constraints — before any university is discussed.

  2. Stage 2

    Choose the destination

Comparing destinations on study system, language of instruction, general entry requirements and day-to-day realities.

  3. Stage 3

    Explore universities and programs

Building an initial list around the program you want, then checking each university on its official website.

  4. Stage 4

    Check the requirements

Each university's requirements are its own and change yearly; we review them with you from the official source before applying.

  5. Stage 5

    Prepare the documents

Assembling the file: academic records, language evidence, identity documents and anything the university specifically asks for.

  6. Stage 6

    Submit the application

Applying through the university's official channel, with every field and attachment reviewed before submission.

  7. Stage 7

    Track the application

Following the application status and responding to any request for extra documents within the stated window.

  8. Stage 8

    The decision and what follows

Reading the decision and its conditions, comparing offers if there are several, then arranging the next steps.

Our role is organising, preparing and following up. The admission decision belongs to the university alone, and we never guarantee it.

Practical checklists

What to prepare, and what to ask

Before you start applying

  • Decide the program or field you are targeting
  • Confirm the language of instruction for that program
  • Read the official admissions page of every university on your list
  • Establish whether a language test or entrance exam is required
  • Note each university's application window

The document file

  • High-school certificate and transcript
  • Identity documents and a valid passport
  • Language test result, where one is required
  • Photographs in the format the university specifies
  • Any additional document the university explicitly lists
  • Translated or attested copies only where they are requested

Questions worth asking

  • What is the actual language of instruction on this program?
  • Is there a language preparatory year?
  • What are the conditions for continuing after admission?
  • What is the single official channel for applying?
  • How long do you have to respond to an offer?
  • How is the qualification recognised when you return home?

These are general organising lists. The documents actually required are set by each university on its official page and can differ between programs.

Common mistakes

Mistakes that weaken an application file

  • Choosing a university before choosing a program. We start from the program and what it leads to, then look for the universities that offer it in a way that fits the student.
  • Relying on social-media groups instead of the official website.Every requirement is confirmed on the university's own page, because conditions change yearly.
  • Starting on documents after the application window opens. The file is prepared in advance so translation and attestation do not eat into the window.
  • Applying to a single university.A balanced list gives real options without spreading the effort too thin.

Terminology

University admissions terminology in plain language

Admission conditions and program details belong to the universities; we read them with you from the official source.

University admissions
The process by which you apply to a university: choosing the program, preparing documents, submitting the application, and following up on the response and decision.
Undergraduate study (bachelor's)
The first university stage after secondary school, ending with a bachelor's degree.
Postgraduate study
Study after a bachelor's degree, such as a master's, with admission conditions and documents that differ from the undergraduate stage.
Foundation program
A preparatory year offered by some universities for students who do not meet direct-entry conditions, used as a bridge into the first year. Its availability and conditions are set by each university.
Application support
Practical help in getting the application ready: reviewing documents, completing forms, keeping to deadlines, and following up correspondence with the university.
Statement of purpose
A short piece of writing explaining why you chose the program, your background and your goal; some universities ask for it as part of the file.

Honest fit

When you may not need the admissions service yet

  • If the basic requirements are not in place yet — such as your secondary certificate or language certificate — we start from the track you need first.
  • If you have already chosen a university, applied yourself, and only need one official piece of information; we can point you to the source without a full service.
  • If you are looking for a guaranteed admission or scholarship; no organisation can guarantee a university's decision or funding.

Next step

What happens after you get in touch

None of these steps commits you to anything, and we do not ask for payment before the recommended path is clear to you.

  1. 1. You message us on WhatsApp or send the consultation form

Tell us your name, your study stage, your goal, and the deadline you are working towards if you have one. Every WhatsApp button on the site reaches the same center number.

  2. 2. A free academic consultation

A short conversation to understand where you are and what you are aiming at: what you have already tried, how much time you have, and what this track actually measures.

  3. 3. A review of your file and possible programs

We review your current file with you: the certificates you hold, your language certificate if any, the programs you are considering, and what is genuinely missing before applying.

  4. 4. A written recommended path, then you decide

We summarise what we recommend and why, and what the alternative is if this track is not the right fit — including the possibility that you do not need the service right now.

FAQ

Questions students and parents ask

Do you guarantee admission to a specific university?

No. The admission decision belongs to the university alone. Our role is to make the application complete, realistic and submitted on time.

When should admission work start?

The earlier the better, because some requirements such as language certificates or the SAT need preparation time before applying.

Do you publish information about fees and scholarships?

We rely only on what the university or official authority publishes at the time of applying, and never publish unconfirmed figures or conditions.

What exactly does the admissions service include?

Clarifying your options and comparing programs, reviewing the documents each university publishes as required, supporting preparation and submission of the application, and following up correspondence until a response arrives. It does not include influencing the university's decision, which is outside any intermediary's control.

When should I start?

Early enough before the deadline to prepare documents and a language certificate if one is required. Deadlines are set by each university and checked on its official website.

Do you guarantee admission or a scholarship?

No. The decision belongs to the university alone. What we do is submit a complete, organised file that matches the published conditions — the part that can actually be controlled.

How does this service relate to tests and English?

Many programs require a language certificate, and some ask for an academic test such as the SAT. In the consultation we identify what your specific program requires, then sequence preparation before or alongside the application.
