ETS — TOEFL registration ↗In short
The essentials
- Available centres appear in your ETS account once you enter your city and desired date.
- The TOEFL test is computer-based, so a centre's equipment and headsets are part of your experience.
- Seats are reserved the moment you pay, and centres near universities fill fastest.
- Apostrophe is a preparation centre, not an authorised TOEFL test centre.
Direct answers
Direct answers on TOEFL centres
We do not publish a centre list because hosting and seats change per date; we explain how to search instead.
Where are TOEFL test centres in Saudi Arabia?
TOEFL centres in Saudi Arabia are ETS-authorised educational institutions hosting the test in the main cities, and the centres actually available appear inside your ETS account once you enter your city and desired window.
A centre may appear in your search this month and not the next, because seats are opened per date.

What if seats are full in my city?
Widen your date range within your city first, then review the other delivery options ETS publishes, and only then consider a nearby city — travelling a full day before the test.
Important exception: Extra seats sometimes open close to the date when demand rises, but they are not guaranteed and are no basis for a plan.
Does the test differ between centres?
No; TOEFL content and scoring criteria are standardised by ETS across all centres — what differs is facilities and available dates.
Who is responsible for what
The bodies behind the TOEFL test — and exactly where Apostrophe fits
Many students assume a preparation centre registers them or issues their score. These roles are entirely separate.
ETS
Owns the test
Writes the TOEFL test, sets format, fees and dates, runs registration, and issues and sends scores to universities.
Authorised test centres
Deliver test day
Institutions authorised by ETS that host the test and provide the equipment and seats; they neither write nor mark it.
Universities
Decide what a score means
Each university sets the total and section scores it accepts. There is no official pass mark in the TOEFL test.
Apostrophe Academy
Preparation and guidance
Prepares students and explains registration and how the score is used in admissions. Apostrophe is not a testing body or an authorised TOEFL test centre, and does not issue scores.
How to find an authorised centre
Start from your ETS account, not a search engine. Enter your city and the window that suits you, and the centres that have actually opened seats in that window appear with their dates.
Do not rely on centre names from old articles; authorisation is granted and withdrawn, and some centres host in certain seasons only.
What to check before confirming
Because the TOEFL test is computer-based with four continuous sections, room conditions genuinely affect performance — especially Speaking, which you record aloud while others around you are speaking too.
- Distance and travel time at peak hours, and parking if you will drive.
- Session start time: some early-morning sessions may not suit your concentration.
- The centre's late-arrival policy — arriving late usually means refused entry with no refund.
- Accepted ID as specified in ETS instructions, matching your registered name exactly.
