Taking the SAT in Saudi Arabia: Test Centers and How to Book

The list of SAT test centers changes between administrations, and no list is authoritative except the official search tool inside your College Board account. This page explains how to search, book, and handle sold-out centers instead of publishing a list that goes stale.

Dates, fees and centers are set officially by the College Board and change between administrations. This page explains the process and steps; always verify numbers and dates with the official source before registering.

Direct answers

Direct answers on SAT test centres in Saudi Arabia

The list of available centres changes between administrations, so we explain how to search rather than publishing a list that goes stale.

Where are SAT test centres in Saudi Arabia?

SAT centres in Saudi Arabia are schools and educational institutions authorised by College Board, and the centres actually available appear during registration once you enter your city and test date.

A centre available for one administration may not open seats for the next, because hosting is arranged per administration.

What if seats are full in my city?

You have three practical options: look for a centre in a nearby city, choose a later test date, or check the system regularly since seats sometimes reopen when bookings are cancelled.

Important exception: Do not rely on seats reopening as your main plan; if your application deadline is close, travelling to another city is safer.

Can I sit the SAT at Apostrophe?

No. Apostrophe is a preparation and academic guidance centre, not an authorised test centre; the SAT is sat only at centres authorised by College Board.

What we provide is preparation and practice tests in a format close to the real exam, plus guidance on registration and centre booking.

Who is responsible for what

The bodies behind the SAT — and exactly where Apostrophe fits

This matters because many students assume a preparation centre registers them or issues their score. These roles are entirely separate.

  • College Board

    Owns the test

Writes the SAT, sets dates and fees, runs registration, and issues and sends scores to universities.

  • Authorised test centres

    Deliver test day

Schools or institutions authorised by College Board that host the test and provide seats; they neither write nor mark it.

  • Universities

    Decide what a score means

Each university decides for itself whether it requires the SAT and what score it treats as competitive. There is no universal pass mark.

  • Apostrophe Academy

    Preparation and guidance

Prepares students for the SAT and explains registration and admissions steps. Apostrophe is not a testing body or an authorised SAT test centre, and does not issue scores.

How to search for a center

After choosing a test date inside your official account, the tool lists available centers near the city or postal code you enter. Results are tied to that specific date, so a center may appear for one administration and not another.

If seats run out in your city

  • Widen the search to nearby cities within reasonable travel distance
  • Re-check the tool periodically, as seats can reopen after cancellations
  • Consider the next administration if your application timeline allows
  • Plan travel and accommodation early if the center is outside your city

On test day

Before the date, confirm the officially published entry requirements: admission ticket, accepted photo ID, your device with the Bluebook app installed and ready, and the required arrival time. Missing any of these can prevent entry.
